   History of Niagara Falls, ON

Flowing north as part of the Niagara River, which draws Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined waterfalls have the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America with a direct drop of more than 50 meters (160 ft). During peak hours during the day, more than 168,000 m3 (six million cubic feet) of water flows through the peaks every minute. Horseshoe Falls is the largest waterfall in North America, as measured by the flow rate. Niagara Falls is famous for its beauty and is an important source of hydroelectric power. Balancing the use of recreation, commerce and industry has been a challenge for waterfall managers since the 19th century.

Niagara Falls is located 27 km (17 mi) northwest of Buffalo, New York, and 121 km (75 mi) southeast of Toronto, between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Niagara Falls, New York. Niagara Falls was formed when glaciers receded at the end of Wisconsin glaciation (the last ice age), and water from the newly formed Great Lakes flowed down the Niagara Escarpment to the Atlantic Ocean.

In August 2005 the Ontario Power Generation, which oversees Sir Adam Beck's stations, launched a major engineering project, called the Niagara Tunnel Project, to increase energy production by building a new 12.7-meter (42 ft), 10.2-kilometer-long (6.3 mi) wide range. water diversion tunnel. Launched in March 2013, it helped increase the capacity of the 150-megawatt nameplate. It did this by tapping water from as far away as the Niagara River rather than through an existing arrangement. The tunnel provided new hydroelectric power to approximately 160,000 homes.

Transportation and Logistics Market in Niagara Falls, ON

The Welland Canal connects Lake Ontario and Lake Erie with a series of eight locks, allowing ships to pass through the 150-foot-high Nyagara Falls

Ships can pass through Niagara Falls via the Welland Canal, which was developed and installed at Saint Lawrence Seaway in the mid-1950s. While the sea was diverting water from nearby Buffalo and leading to the destruction of its iron ore and grain mills, other industries in the Niagara River were thriving with the help of hydroelectric power. However, since the 1970s the region has been in a recession.

The cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, and Niagara Falls, New York, USA, are connected by two bridges across the country. Rainbow Bridge, just below the river from the waterfalls, offers a very close view of the falls and is open to non-commercial vehicles and pedestrians. Whirlpool Rapids Bridge lies one mile (1.6 km) north of Rainbow Bridge and is the oldest bridge over the Niagara River. The nearby Niagara Falls International Airport and Buffalo Niagara International Airport are named after the falls, such as Niagara University, many local businesses, and an asteroid.

With the booming steel and grain Mills industry Niagara Falls needed a large logistics and transportation network to support all the new growing industries within the area this makes Niagara Falls ON one of the biggest players when it comes to logistics and transportation, and Dynafix here to make sure that we are able to support Niagara Falls as it grows.
